SafePal Supports Kusama Asset Hub Migration

Nov 04,2025

Dear SafePal Community,

Kusama Asset Hub migration is now supported within the SafePal wallet suite. With the latest SafePal wallet app V4.10.3 update, users can now store, send, and receive Kusama assets on the SafePal mobile app and hardware wallet, with browser extension support to follow in a few days.

Note: Users only need to update to the latest SafePal app version (V4.10.3 and above)  and the upcoming version update for the browser extension, followed by the addition of the new chain as described in the tutorial here to view and manage their Kusama assets.

More information about the migration itself can be found here.

About Kusama:

Kusama is a public, pre-production environment and a "canary network" for its sister network, Polkadot. Built by the same team, it allows developers to test new features, applications, and updates in a real-world environment with lower risks before deploying them on Polkadot.

Kusama has a more experimental and flexible environment with less stringent governance than Polkadot. The native token, KSM, is used for governance, staking, and transaction fees.
